More luxury apartments on tap for River Oaks area

Houston Business Journal - Houston's gaining another tony apartment project. A luxury midrise apartment project called Azalea Court broke ground this month, located at the northeast corner of Westheimer Road and Mid Lane.

Situated on 11.2 acres directly between Highland Village and the River Oaks district, Azalea Court will include 645 units in an eight-story building and a 17-story tower. Azalea Court is the first phase of a mixed-use project. Financial details about the project were not disclosed.

New luxury apartment complex to open this fall in the Energy Corridor

The Heights at Park Row, a 342-unit luxury multifamily complex, is scheduled to open in the Energy Corridor in a few months.

Another luxury apartment complex is underway in the Energy Corridor, continuing the booming multifamily construction trend in Houston.

The Worthing Cos. of Atlanta will construct the 342-unit luxury complex on a nine-acre site in the Wolff Cos.’ Central Park, a 78-acre mixed-use development located on the north side of Interstate 10 between North Eldridge Parkway and Highway 6 in the Energy Corridor. Construction on the project, called The Heights at Park Row, has begun and will be ready for lease by October.

New luxury apartment tower planned near River Oaks - Houston Business Journal

Novare Group, an Atlanta-based apartment developer, is reportedly planning another luxury SkyHouse apartment tower in Houston.

Swamplot reports that Novare has a new Houston project dubbed the River Oaks SkyHouse. Although the exact location hasn’t been confirmed, Swamplot said the reported address for the project is at 2013 Westcreek Lane, which is located near San Felipe St. and the 610 West Loop South.
