Fifty-five students from nearby elementary school feeder campuses attended the Cypress Woods High School Football Camp June 13-16, learning and practicing basic skills in all three phases of the sport—offense, defense and special teams. The camp participants also learned strength training activities that can be accomplished without lifting weights.

Cy Fair ISD - Lobos’ two-sport athlete makes second trip to state

Making it to state in any UIL event is an accomplishment, but Langham Creek High School senior Connor Ferguson has done it twice. Ferguson advanced to the UIL Class 6A state championships in two sports, baseball and swimming, all within the same year.

Ferguson was a member of the Lobos’ 200 freestyle relay team that placed 10th at state in February. That same relay team broke the school record and is just outside of the top 100 fastest high school relay times in the nation this year.
