Veranda Announces First Builders in Richmond

Grand Central Park Announces Plans for Nature-Inspired Gathering Place

Grand Central Park, Montgomery County’s newest master-planned community, has announced it will add a quaint, nature-inspired gathering place known as Trillium Park within its first phase of new homes.

Named after the perennial flowering plants planned for the new setting, Trillium Park will open this summer with a babbling brook leading to a covered pavilion complete with picnic tables and other sitting areas.

With its Amenity Village complete and sales of new homes maintaining a healthy pace, the Texas 288 master-planned community of Meridiana has expanded its management team by adding Nina Hutchinson as Lifestyle Coordinator.



Premier residential developer Johnson Development Corp. has the most master-planned communities listed on two recent reports of the nation’s top-selling developments.

Fort Bend’s Riverstone was ranked in the top 20 U.S. communities by both Robert Charles Lesser & Co. (RCLCO) and John Burns Real Estate Consulting. The 3,700-acre development is the highest-ranked Houston-area community on either list. Builders sold 441 homes in Riverstone last year.

Johnson Development Corp. is kicking off a super promotion that could have players scoring big during the “JDC $100,000 Gridiron Giveaway.”

“All eyes are on Sunday, Feb. 5, when the biggest game in football comes to Houston, and we wanted to host an equally big promotion,” said Doug Goff, Chief Operating Officer of Johnson Development.

Flurries Forecast in Sienna for Dec. 17 Frost Fest

Frost Fest returns to Sienna Plantation 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, bringing 50,000 pounds of snow, an outdoor ice skating rink, the world’s largest rocking horse and much more. The event is free and open to the public.

Sienna Plantation will unleash a flurry of snow-filled fun from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, at Frost Fest.
