Sienna Plantation Invites Public to July 9 Shred, White and Blue

The public will be able to liberate themselves from decade’s worth of old bank statements, faded receipts and other papers clogging filing cabinets during Sienna Plantation’s Shred, White and Blue event noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 9.

A secure shredding truck will be on-site at the model home park in Sienna’s Village of Sawmill Lake, 9810 Maroon Peak. While papers are being shredded, visitors can enjoy free ice cream or tour any of the 16 well-appointed models in the neighborhood.

Sienna Plantation Dishes Out Champagne, Macarons Thursdays in July

Prospective home buyers will be treated to the finer things in life Thursdays in July when they tour two of Sienna Plantation’s newest model homes.

Both Gracepoint Homes’ and Toll Brothers’ models in Sienna’s gated neighborhood of Fox Bend will have champagne and French macarons for those touring the well-appointed homes 4-7 p.m. July 7, 14, 21 and 28. The French pastries will be prepared by Houston-based Macaron by Patisse, a French boutique recently featured on CNBC’s “Billion Dollar Buyer.”

Sienna Plantation Schools See Big Gains on New Report Card

 Fort Bend ISD schools serving Sienna Plantation students saw a marked increase in the annual rankings recently released by Children at Risk, a non-profit organization that publishes reports on the performance of Texas schools.

Four of the schools serving Sienna Plantation experienced gains of 25 percent or more over 2015 rankings, including Heritage Rose Elementary, which saw a 160 percent climb in the rankings list from last year, indicative of the strength of the current academic staff and curriculum.

Sienna Plantation Opens New Luxury Models with Breath of Fresh Air

Approximately 100 business leaders, real estate elite and community members experienced a breath of fresh air — literally — while touring two new luxury model homes recently opened in Sienna Plantation.

Visitors had the first look at well-appointed models by Gracepoint Homes and Toll Brothers in the gated neighborhood of Fox Bend in the Village of Sawmill Lake during an elegant evening staged in the homes. Plus, event-goers were invited to breathe deeply at the scented oxygen bar.

Sienna Plantation Opens New Luxury Models

Prospective homebuyers and décor enthusiasts can tour Sienna Plantation’s newest model homes in Fox Bend, a gated estate neighborhood in the Village of Sawmill Lake.   

The Fort Bend development is hosting the grand opening of models by Gracepoint Homes and Toll Brothers 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 21, and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 22.

Registration Opens for Fun, Educational Kid Camps in Sienna Plantation

Registration has opened for a series of art, science and superhero-themed summer camps to be held at Sienna Plantation beginning June 6.

Camps designed by Kidventure and Camp Einstein will be offered, in addition to those devoted to Legos, art and music. They will take place at Club Sienna, 9600 Scanlan Trace, and are open to both residents and non-residents. Residents will receive preferential pricing.

Sienna Plantation Sports Camps Open to the Public

Weekly Summer Camps Start June 6

Registration has opened for a variety of fitness and sports summer camps hosted by the Sienna Plantation homeowners association in partnership with Baines Middle School.

The Longhorn Camps begin June 6 and will focus on basic fitness, conditioning and sports skills. Weekly sessions will be held at the school, 9000 Sienna Ranch Road, and are open to residents and non-residents. Sienna Plantation residents will receive preferential pricing.

Registration Still Open for April 24 Texas Sienna 10

Spots are still available in the inaugural Texas Sienna 10, an April 24 race that already has more than 700 registrants.

Part of the Texas 10 Series, the race features a 10-mile, five-mile or kids’ one-mile race. Participants accrue points toward cash prizes in the Armadillo Cup, which awards top point earners in an array of male and female age categories.

Sienna Plantation Announces 4th Recreation Center

Sienna Plantation has announced plans for a community recreation center in the Village of Sawmill Lake, the development’s newest collection of neighborhoods.

Located along the banks of Sawmill Lake, the Sawmill Lake Club will be Sienna’s fourth resident multi-purpose center and will offer residents access to the community’s fifth on-site pool. In addition to a pool, the facility will have a fitness center, playground and space for events. Site work has begun for the facility, which is expected to open in 2017.
