Crystal Clear Lagoon in Balmoral - Northeast Houston

Construction has started on the first crystal clear, man-made freshwater lagoon in Texas, bringing a new beach-style lifestyle to the Balmoral residential community when it opens next year.

The two-acre, environmentally friendly lagoon with white sand beaches is the first of its kind in a primary residential community in the state.

Woodforest Touts Park City Ski Trip Promotion

Park City slopes are calling and avid snow birds can register to hit them when they visit any Woodforest model home.

During the Savor the Season event, Dec. 1-31, visitors to any of the master-planned community’s 30 model homes can register to win a ski vacation in Park City, Utah. Those interested can also register at the Woodforest Homefinder Lodge, 101 Elk Trace Parkway. Two vacations will be given away.

Woodforest Adds Southern Charmers to Available Home Designs

Gracepoint Homes is debuting a new style of home designs in Woodforest, adding to the array of architectural styles found in the South Montgomery County community.

The homes will showcase classic Southern features in the Kingsley neighborhood of Woodforest, an enclave of 50-foot properties. Home exteriors will feature front porches, columns, shutters, carriage-style garage doors and painted brick.

Cinemark Theatre Coming to Valley Ranch Town Center

The Signorelli Company, a leader among real estate developers in Texas, has announced that Cinemark Theatres is planning to begin construction of a new 10-screen theater in the Entertainment District at Valley Ranch Town Center. Valley Ranch Town Center, a development of The Signorelli Company, is a new 240-acre retail district located at the epicenter of growth in the Northeast Houston corridor at the intersection of I-69 and the Grand Parkway (99). It is situated within the thriving 1,400-acre master-planned community of Valley Ranch just north of Kingwood.

Jordan Ranch Sets Oct. 22 and 23 Grand Opening

Jordan Ranch, a new master-planned community in Fulshear, is celebrating the debut of eight new model homes with a grand opening event 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 22 and 23.

Live performances by the Electric Cowboys and Jason Boland and The Stragglers highlight the two-day event, which also will feature the high-flying antics of the Houston Disc and Dogs of Barks 5th Avenue Dock Dogs, face painters, balloon artists and bounce houses in addition to model home tours. Dog trainers will host meet-and-greet sessions after each of their three performances.

Sienna Plantation Hosts Truck N’ Munch Food Truck Fest Oct. 14

Hungry fans of street fare will be able to choose from a range of gourmet treats during a mobile food fest at Sienna Plantation Oct. 14.

At Truck N’ Munch, more than 20 Houston-area food trucks will gather from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Club Sienna parking lot, 9600 Scanlan Trace, to serve up lobster rolls, burgers, sushi, tacos, ice cream sandwiches, old-fashioned sundaes and more.

Dirt is officially turning in Johnson Development’s newest Houston-area community, with the recent groundbreaking ceremony in Veranda.
