Livable Center Study Grant Awarded to Northwest Houston

Houston, Spring, Klein, Cypress - The Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Ponderosa Forest Utility District and the Cypress Creek Parkway Property Owner’s Association are pleased to announce that they have been awarded a $100,000 Livable Center Study Grant for implementation in 2014 by the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC).  H-GAC is the regional planning authority for the thirteen-county Houston-Galveston region serving over 6 million people. Livable Centers are one strategy to address population growth and the ensuing transportation challenges.
