Houston Business Journal - Houston keeps growing along with its Texas neighbors, but Austin, San Antonio and Dallas are lagging behind the Bayou City when it comes to adding residents.
Houston added 35,202 residents from July 1, 2012 to July 1, 2013, according to data from the U.S. Census Bureau.
That number left Houston second only to New York for adding newcomers. But it was not a close second — New York added 61,440 new residents in the same time period.
