Recently the Texas Association of Realtors published a study that suggests that more people are relocating from California to Texas than any other state. For that matter, in 2015 alone 65,546 people decided to leave California behind and take residence in the Lone Star State.
Houston is hitting it big again in the lastest U.S. Census Bureau statistics. Between July 2015 and July 2016 the city of Houston added 18,666 new residents, ranking Houston amoung the cities United States that have seen the most population growth.
In addition to the tremendous growth in the Houston area, the city of Conroe which lays just north of the Houston area has ranked as one of the fastest-growing cities in Amerca.

Part of the association’s 2016 “Of the Year Awards,” the Builder of the Year award was presented to Lennar/Village Builders, two of Houston’s largest new homebuilders and longtime supporters of the GHBA, at the association’s 2017 installation of officers.
