SPRING MASTER-PLANNED COMMUNITY OF HARMONY NAMES LOCAL RESIDENT LIFESTYLE DIRECTOR

SPRING, TX – Spring resident Sarah Santo has been named Lifestyle Director for the north Houston master-planned community of Harmony where she will plan a full calendar of resident activities including fitness programs, festivals and recreational events, resident gatherings and day excursions.

“I’ve always loved planning events,” says Santo, who as a little girl planned her own birthday parties.  “Plus, all of Harmony’s surrounding nature spots within the Spring Creek Greenway are ideal for hiking, biking, canoeing and all kinds of outdoor fitness activities.”

Spring High Choral Groups Win Top Mark of Excellence Awards in National Competition

Houston – Oct. 15, 2013 - The Spring High School Chorale and Spring High School Mixed Chorus have been named winners in the Mark of Excellence competition. The groups entered the national contest by submitting recorded performances. This year 178 music ensembles from 35 states competed, and the Spring High School ensembles took two of the top awards.  

"It is very rare to win two categories in this national competition,” said Joe Clark, Spring ISD director of performing and visual arts.
