Bridgeland® Receives Three Awards and The Woodlands® Takes Home “Humanitarian of the Year”
Coventry Homes received two awards in the recent Houston’s Best PRISM Awards hosted by the Greater Houston Builders Association.
The Houston-based builder won Volume Builder Townhome Product Design for its Versailles floor plan offered in Somerset Green. Coventry’s Design 8264 in Avalon at Spring Green took home the award for Volume Builder “Specialty Home” Front Elevation up to $750k.

The Johnson Development Corp. is Houston’s most active developer, with four projects on a list of the area’s busiest residential communities, the most of any developer.
The four projects — Riverstone, Woodforest, Cross Creek Ranch and Sienna Plantation — account for 24 percent of the 7,812 homes started within the 25 developments named on the list. Three Johnson communities are among the top 10. Published by the Houston Business Journal on Nov. 19, the list ranks projects by the number of annual starts as of the second quarter of 2015.
Friendswood Development Company’s master-planned community of Tavola was once again honored for its outstanding landscaping and amenities with the recent Greater Houston Builders Association’s Professional Results in Sales and Marketing (PRISM) award for Best Landscaping for a development. The awards which are presented by the GHBA each year, recognize outstanding achievements by builders, developers and people in the Houston home building industry. Tavola was also awarded for its “Festa Tavola” event which celebrated the grand opening of the community in November.
Sitterle Homes won the prize for Best Specialty Room — Volume Builder in the prestigious Houston’s Best PRISM Awards presented by the Greater Houston Builders Association.
The builder won for a wine room in its model home in Imperial at Sugar Land. The room features brick-clad walls, a barrel-vaulted ceiling and extensive wine storage. Comfortable seating and a granite-topped counter create an intimate space for wine tastings.
Sitterle Homes also was a finalist for Garden Home/Patio Home of the Year — Volume Builder for its model home in Imperial.
