Pearland ISD bond package addresses growth, aging facilities

Since its last bond election, Pearland ISD has grown by about 6,000 students and anticipates 1,500 more students in the next seven years.

Addressing both a growing student population and aging facilities is a top priority of Pearland Independent School District’s Nov. 8 school bond election.

Approximately 83 percent of projects included in the $220 million bond package will address district-wide enrollment growth and facility renovations, adding extra capacity at current schools and ensuring campus maintenance and upgrades to continue serving students.
