Rotary Club of The Woodlands Honors Students of the Year

Eight students from The John Cooper School were recognized as Rotary Club Students of the Year at the May 19 luncheon of Rotary Club of The Woodlands. This award is given to students based on their proven qualities of leadership, community service, school spirit/service, academics and outstanding character. An award is given to one male and one female per grade level. Many congratulations to ninth graders Christopher McDonald and Uche Oguchi; tenth graders T.J.

North Houston Association’s 22nd Annual Golf Tournament To Be Held September 26, 2016 in The Woodlands

The North Houston Association (NHA) 2016 Golf Tournament will be held at The Woodlands Country Club – Palmer Golf Course onMonday, September 26.   Check-in and registration will begin at 10:30 am.   The Shotgun Start for the golf tournament is 12:00 Noon.   The Honorary Co-Chairs of the golf tournament are Montgomery County Judge Craig Doyal and Harris County Commissioner R.

MD Anderson celebrates survivorship with free concert at Market Square

Inaugural Survivorship Night to take place June 2

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center will shine a light on cancer survivors during the Survivorship Night event in The Woodlands, a free, family-friendly concert on Thursday, June 2 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Market Square. This new community event is part of MD Anderson’s annual Survivorship Week, a week of activities to honor those who are living with, through and beyond cancer.

Conroe’s Grand Central Park Plans Second Information Event As Homebuyers Flock to Community

Having attracted more than 250 prospective homebuyers to a mid-February information gathering, Conroe’s Grand Central Park will host a second on-site information event, complete with fresh kettle corn and fun popcorn takeaways, on Saturday, March 12 with two presentations at 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
