Balloons, face painting, games and superheroes filled the hallway near the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital recently. All of the fun was part of the hospital’s annual NICU reunion.
The reunion celebrates life and provides families the opportunity to visit with the physicians, nurses and staff that cared for them during their time at the hospital. Dozens of families returned for the celebration including one-year-old Lucy Garza who spent her first days in the NICU at Memorial Hermann Southeast.
