Darling Homes has put down roots in Harvest Green, the innovative, farm-and-garden themed Fort Bend community where the Houston luxury homebuilder will add new homes on 75-foot homesites.

Darling also will open a spectacular new model home, professionally furnished and expertly designed, at 618 Vineyard Hollow Court.  Its Harvest Green model home is expected to open in the fall with homes starting in the mid $400s.

Missouri City Partners With AccessHealth to Host Annual Back-to-School Heath Fair on Saturday, Aug. 8

From 9 a.m. – noon on Saturday, Aug. 8, Missouri City and Fort Bend County will partner with AccessHealth to host the affordable health care provider’s annual Back-to-School Fair. The event will take place at the AccessHealth Missouri City location at 307 Texas Pkwy. 

The event will offer area residents free immunizations; dental, vision and speech-language screenings; backpacks; school supplies; free haircuts; free hot dogs and tons of other family friendly activities, games and snacks.

Fort Bend's Riverstone Again Ranked Top MPC in Texas

Riverstone has again been ranked the No. 1 top-selling master-planned community in Texas for a third consecutive year.

Housing research firm Robert Charles Lesser & Co. (RCLCO) shows Riverstone as the highest-ranked Texas development in its recently released 2015 mid-year report. Riverstone is ranked No. 5 in the nation, moving one point from its 2014 ranking. Riverstone is the only Texas development ranked among the nation’s top 10 best-selling master-planned communities. The annual report analyzes home sales from the first half of 2015.

MD Anderson Celebrates Cancer Survivors in Fort Bend with dazzling event

In recognition of National Cancer Survivor Month, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center hosted its first Survivorship Night event in Sugar Land Town Square, with lights, music and messages of inspiration to celebrate local cancer survivors, patients and caregivers.
