Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital’s Birthing Center invites expecting and new moms – along with their partners and babies – to its annual Community Baby Shower on Wednesday, Aug. 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event will feature demonstrations on how to safely use baby carriers, presentations on the importance of safe sleeping practices, and a Sugar Land police officer will be speaking about car seat safety. In addition, lactation consultants from the Birthing Center will be available to talk one-on-one with moms and provide guidance and support.
