Cross Creek Ranch Expands, Opens 18 New Models

Cross Creek Ranch’s growth continues with the opening of six more neighborhoods and 18 new model homes this year, as well as increasing home sales.

While declining oil prices have softened Houston’s housing market in recent months, the Fulshear community has experienced a nearly 10 percent increase in sales over the previous year, said Rob Bamford, general manager of Cross Creek Ranch.



The Sugar Land Skeeters announced today that individual and group tickets for the 
upcoming 2016 Atlantic League Playoffs go on sale today, Wednesday September 14th.  The Skeeters conclude their regular season schedule at home this week with one game remaining against the Long Island Ducks tonight at 7:05pm and a four game series against the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs beginning Thursday, September 15 and the final game on Sunday, September 18th starting at 6:05pm.  

Mango Punch Brings ‘Uptown Funk’ to Sienna Plantation Sept. 23

Musical group Mango Punch will bring some “Uptown Funk” to Fort Bend’s Sienna Plantation Friday, Sept. 23.

During the free performance, concertgoers can “Move Like Jagger” from 7-10 p.m. at the master-planned community’s amphitheater, 3777 Sienna Parkway. It is open to the public.

Voted the Houston area’s “Best Latin Band” six years in a row by the Houston Music Press, Mango Punch plays a mix of Top 40, salsa and rock.


Master-planned Riverstone is demonstrating why there is no place like home during its 15th Anniversary Celebration where visitors can tour fully decorated model homes and win the ultimate staycation in October.

During the month-long event, the doors will be open to 19 community model homes, including several priced at more than $1 million. While visiting models, the public can register to win a staycation package that bundles $2,000 worth of personal chef services, $1,000 toward housekeeping, a $500 spa gift certificate and a $1,500 shopping spree.

FBCA Alumni Update | Marissa Keith Owen

Alumna Marissa Keith Owen ’08 graduated from Texas A&M nursing school and now has the special opportunity to work with her mom, Andrea Keith, former FBCA teacher.

The two are trauma nurses in the ER atMemorial Hermannmedical center which receives all the life flights. It is one of the busiest level-one trauma centers in the country.

“We have a lot of fun working together,” Andrea said.

Celebrate Oktoberfest Sienna-Style Oct. 22

Prepare to polka as Sienna Plantation fires up the oompah band for an Oktoberfest celebration at the Village of Sawmill Lake model home park, 9815 Cameron Way, 4-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22.

Lederhosen is not required to enjoy the festivities, which include music, food, games and a Biergarten (ages 21 and up), but a $10 admission fee is. Participants will receive a commemorative Sienna bierstein and one drink and one food item per ticket. The event is open to the public, and proceeds benefit the Fort Bend Education Foundation.
