Interact Club

The Fort Bend Christian Academy Interact Club is a service organization sponsored by the Sugar Land Rotary Club

Interact promotes and hosts three blood drives on the high school campus each year. Many of the FBCA students donate blood and leave knowing they have helped save lives.

"It makes them feel accomplished to know that they have done something so meaningful and impactful," said Lisa Lucik, the school nurse and Interact Club sponsor.

Fort Bend Christian Academy Cast of Twelve Angry Jurors Win State Championship

The FBCA Theatre Department advanced, for the first time in school history, to the TAPPS One-Act Play Championship, and their outstanding performance earned them the title of State TAPPS One-Act Play Champions. Kolton Kaminski received the Honorable Mention Cast Award and both Ethan Walker and Kelsey Brown received All-Star Cast Awards.

"I could not be more proud of this group of students and the hard work they put into making this play come to life," Lana Thompson, Drama & Theatre Arts teacher said.

Tackling a Cure

Fort Bend Christian Academy hosted it's annual Tackling a Cure varsity football game for breast cancer awareness on September 30, 2016.  Since Octobor is breast cancer awareness month, the cheerleaders held a Pink Out pep rally and sported pink pom poms and hair ribbons. For the game, the football players wore pink wristbands.

FBCA Alumni Update | Marissa Keith Owen

Alumna Marissa Keith Owen ’08 graduated from Texas A&M nursing school and now has the special opportunity to work with her mom, Andrea Keith, former FBCA teacher.

The two are trauma nurses in the ER atMemorial Hermannmedical center which receives all the life flights. It is one of the busiest level-one trauma centers in the country.

“We have a lot of fun working together,” Andrea said.

Fort Bend Christian Academy Names Head of School

David Pitre, Ph.D. has been named Head of School for Fort Bend Christian Academy.

After beginning his career as an instructor in higher education, Dr. Pitre served independent and Christian independent schools in several senior-administrative roles, including Head of School, founding Head of Upper School, Academic Dean, and Dean of Faculty

The Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) initiative at FBCA is a collaborative effort with a single mission: produce a God-honoring, cohesive, cutting-edge program that engages learners through riveting, relevant and competitive curriculum. The goal is to yield learners equipped to be problem-solving leaders in college and industry.
