When Drees Custom Homes begins construction of its model home in Grand Central Park this month, it will not only be the first home it is building in the highly anticipated Conroe development, it will be the first time the family builder has ever constructed that floor plan.
The one-story Kentshire design is part of a roster of floor plans priced from the $410,000s that Drees Custom Homes is debuting in Houston.
In a recent pre-game ceremony at Minute Maid Park, Jay McManus, president of the Houston Division of M/I Homes, and his son, Jake McManus, drew the winning name for the 2016 HomeAid Project Playhouse.
Kimberley Cooke and her family were “thrilled” to win the playhouse, according to Sheri Douglass, director of development for HomeAid Houston.
“Our winner Kimberley Cooke happens to be a GHBA member who has been purchasing raffle tickets for several years in hopes of winning the ‘Playhouse’ for her family,” said Douglass.

“Our goal has been to assemble a collection of trusted homebuilders to create a distinctive forest living experience with a decidedly urban feel,” says League. “The addition of Jaeger Homes is certainly a big step in that direction.”
A collection of three-story luxury townhomes by Lennar will make its Houston debut in the new Spring Branch townhome community of Knoll Park, marking the first time Lennar has added new homes in a prime, in-town Houston location.
