MD Anderson celebrates survivorship with free concert at Market Square

Inaugural Survivorship Night to take place June 2

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center will shine a light on cancer survivors during the Survivorship Night event in The Woodlands, a free, family-friendly concert on Thursday, June 2 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Market Square. This new community event is part of MD Anderson’s annual Survivorship Week, a week of activities to honor those who are living with, through and beyond cancer.

Continuing the focus of June as National Cancer Survivors Month, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is hosting its first Survivorship Night with a free concert and other festivities.

An evening for the community to come together to celebrate local cancer survivors, patients and caregivers, regardless of where they received treatment, the event will take place on Friday, June 26 from 7:30-9:30 p.m. in Sugar Land Town Square, 2711 Plaza Drive.
