Rise Communities Wins Texas Association of Builders’ Developer of the Year, Best Community Award

Rise Communities, developer of the Texas 288 master-planned community of Meridiana and the Katy master-planned community of Cane Island, has won the prestigious Developer of the Year Award from the Texas Association of Builders.

Rise Communities also was awarded for Meridiana as Best Community Over 20 Acres based on an on-site visit by an assembled panel of real estate development professionals.

Three New Model Homes Open in Highway 288 Meridiana Master-Planned Community

Three new model homes have opened in Meridiana as the Texas Highway 288 master-planned community of new homes completes the first elements of its resort-style Amenity Village in preparation for its first new residents.

            Shea Homes has opened a new, fully furnished model where the nation’s largest privately owned new home builder is presenting plans on 70-foot homesites from 2,975 – 4,411 square feet. Starting in the $380s, Shea’s single and two-story plans feature three, four and five-bedroom designs ideal for entertaining and active families. 

Work Begins on Meridiana Parkway/Texas 288 Interchange as Primary Access to New Meridiana Master-Planned Community

Construction has started on the Meridiana Parkway/Texas 288 interchange providing direct access to the new Meridiana master-planned community, Houston’s first community dedicated to education for all ages amidst more than 5,500 new, single-family homes.

Just minutes south of Highway 6, the new Meridiana Parkway/Texas 288 interchange will provide access into the new community for those driving south from the Texas Medical Center or those heading north from Angleton, Lake Jackson and Freeport.

Former Angleton Chamber Exec, Lindsey Denson, Joins Meridiana Master-Planned Community

 Meridiana, the new master-planned community on Texas 288, has named Lindsey Denson as Lifestyle Coordinator where she will initially serve as the community’s point of contact for interested homebuyers, Realtors and corporate relocation managers.

            Denson previously served as Director of Marketing & Special Events for the Greater Angleton Chamber of Commerce, a position she held since 2010 where she was involved in marketing, fundraising/event planning and business development.

Development to Begin For Meridiana, Master- Planned Community South of Texas Medical Center

MANVEL/IOWA COLONY, TX (March 31, 2015) – Rise Communities has announced it will embark on the development of Meridiana, the premier master-planned community on Texas 288 minutes south of the Texas Medical Center in Manvel and Iowa Colony.

Located near the interchange of Texas 288 and Highway 6, Meridiana also is close to several large-scale employers in Freeport including new projects planned by Dow Chemical and BASF.

Texas 288 Set For a 2,700-acre Master-planned Community called Meridiana

Rise Communities is planning Meridiana, a 2,700-acre master-planned community located on County Road 57 east of Texas 288 off Texas 6 in Manvel, TX. The community will be served by the Alvin Independent School District.

                Meridiana is projected to have more than 1,300 acres for single-family home building, more than 60 acres of commercial, about 25 acres for multifamily and other significant development.
