Conroe’s Grand Central Park Plans Second Information Event As Homebuyers Flock to Community

Having attracted more than 250 prospective homebuyers to a mid-February information gathering, Conroe’s Grand Central Park will host a second on-site information event, complete with fresh kettle corn and fun popcorn takeaways, on Saturday, March 12 with two presentations at 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Development Continues in Grand Central Park!

As Grand Central Park continues to prepare for our first phase of new homes, work crews have poured the primary roadways including access roads into the master-planned community from Loop 336 and I-45.

Three new thoroughfares off Loop 336, Crescent Campus Boulevard, Urban Avenue and Town Park Drive (from east to west of I-45) have been paved to the community’s first residential neighborhoods, its Town Center and Business Center districts.

Conroe’s Grand Central Park Hosts Information Gathering

Conroe’s Grand Central Park will host an information gathering and get together for prospective homebuyers, complete with fresh-from-the-campfire S’mores, on Saturday, February 13 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Community representatives will be on hand in a quaint, covered pavilion in the midst of the property’s forested setting where visitors can enjoy breathtaking views while learning more about Grand Central Park’s first homesites for new luxury homes and the regional shopping, dining and entertainment destination, 336 MARKETPLACE.

Changing Sign of The Times New Grand Central Park Monument Signs Installed on I-45, Loop 336

The landmark rock-based sign on I-45 in Conroe which for decades marked the entry to one of the region’s finest scouting destinations has been transformed into a new monument sign for Conroe’s Grand Central Park. 

            “The sign is such a fixture in the area, it just made sense to preserve its signature feature,” says Grand Central Park General Manager Virgil Yoakum.   “The rock base has a real history to it.  Plus, it reinforces the natural elements within the community.”

            A second monument sign for Grand Central Park has been installed on Loop 336.

Animated 3-D Video of Conroe’s Grand Central Park Now Available at Community’s New Website

An all-new, three-dimensional animated concept video that immerses viewers in the sights and sounds of Conroe’s Grand Central Park is now available at the master-planned community’s new website,

Viewers will find themselves heading down the tree-lined sidewalks of Grand Central Park’s vibrant Town Center while shoppers browse in quaint shops and boutiques and cars pass by amidst the sounds of pop fountains, festival gatherings and other outdoor activities.

Conroe’s Grand Central Park Announces Plans for First New Homes

CONROE, TX (March 9, 2015) – The first new homes in Conroe’s Grand Central Park will include luxury patio homes, townhomes and single-family residences on 350, beautiful wooded sites, according to the development team for the 2,046-acre master-planned community bordered by I-45 and Loop 336.

Construction of new homes will begin in early 2016 in the village to be known as Grand Central Park West at the northwest corner of the master-planned community where residents will enjoy immediate access to Loop 336 and nearby I-45.


CONROE, TX (February 2, 2015) – The management team of Conroe’s Grand Central Park says homebuilders for the property’s first phase of new homes will be announced by end of summer 2015 while the start of new home construction will begin in the first quarter of 2016.

            “The pieces are coming together slowly and surely,” notes General Manager Virgil Yoakum of The Johnson Development Corp., developer of the 2,046-acre site.

            Details on the new homes and their location within the property will be announced in the coming weeks.
