Taylor Morrison’s Houston division walked away from this year’s Houston’s Best PRISM Awards with a total of nine wins.
The Houston home builder was named “Best Production Builder” for the third time in the last four years.
    Taylor Morrison also took home top honors for “Rookie Onsite Salesperson of the Year” when Kate Clark’s name was announced during the special event, held at the Marriott Sugar Land Town Square.

University of Houston Clear Lake School of Education Recognized Students

HOUSTON, October 9, 2013 — University of Houston-Clear Lake’s School of Education recognized its students who received Success Through Education Program scholarships at a September kickoff luncheon. STEP, celebrating its 20th year, is a collaborative effort between UH-Clear Lake, four area school districts, and four community colleges to create opportunities for students to explore teaching as a profession and to prepare them to become certified teachers.

Exclusive: Woodlands breaks ground on next multifamily project by Houston Business Journal

The Woodlands Development Co. broke ground Wednesday on its next multifamily project — a mixed-use development within the 66-acre Hughes Landing.

The 390-unit project, dubbed this week Lake’s Edge, will be the third-largest building in the Woodlands, with 825,000 square feet and eight stories.

The project is expected to deliver in the first quarter of 2015.

Can You Dig It? Clarion, PMRG Break Ground on CGG Veritas Expansion by Westchase District

With dress shoes still muddy from their recent groundbreaking at Westchase Park II, commercial real estate investment managers Clarion Partners and Houston-based PM Realty Group broke ground last week on another new corporate property in Westchase District. 

Clarion will build a 108,000 sq. ft. building for geophysical company CGG Veritas, expanding their headquarters campus at 10300 Town Park Drive. The new property will allow for consolidation of more employees to the company's international headquarters.
