Missouri City adjoins Sugar Land along U.S. Highway 59, and seamlessly shares Highway 6 just south of Stafford. It also shares close borders with Houston and is considered one of its “burbs.” Beltway 8 and the Fort Bend Parkway have made the city even more accessible to all parts of the Greater Houston area. METRO operates the Missouri City Park and Ride at Beltway 8 to ferry commuters to various areas in Houston.
