Woodforest in Montgomery, Texas has opened its newest neighborhood — Emory Birch, an enclave of 58 homesites along the Fish Creek tributary.
Highland Homes is the exclusive builder in Emory Birch and has begun presales. The builder is offering plans for varying sizes with pricing from the $210,000s. The 11 home designs range from 1,500 to 3,200 square feet and offer up to five bedrooms, open-concept common areas and options for extended outdoor living areas and additional garage bays.
“Highland Homes has been with us from the beginning,” said Virgil Yoakum, general manager of Woodforest. “We are happy that such a well-regarded builder has been such an integral part of Woodforest for these many years and is choosing to continue to grow as we grow.”
Highland Homes also builds in Woodforest’s Deerbourne Ridge and Blanton Bend neighborhoods.
Woodforest is Montgomery County’s most active development, according to a report released by the Houston Business Journal earlier this year. The 3,000-acre development also ranked No. 26 this year on a list of the nation’s 50 top-selling communities released by Robert Charles Lesser & Co. and No. 27 on the annual tally compiled by John Burns Real Estate Consulting.
In addition to introducing new neighborhoods, Woodforest also is debuting new amenities this year, including a newly opened fitness pool and the Stampede Sportsplex that opens later this summer. The development’s second child care center — Children’s Lighthouse — recently opened in Woodforest and plans for a Star Stop Chevron fuel station and Pine Market were announced earlier this year.
Thirteen production builders have opened 30 models in Woodforest, showcasing the wide range of home choices available including patio homes, townhomes, executive homes, luxury homes and homes for active adults. Nine custom builders also feature designs in the community. Pricing in the community is from the $190,000s to the millions.
