The University of Houston-Clear Lake Pearland Campus is hosting an Open House for prospective students, April 9, from 10 am– 12:30 pm. The Pearland campus is located at 1200 Pearland Parkway, Pearland.
Attendees can apply for free, meet faculty, visit counselors and financial aid advisers and more. In addition, on-the-spot admission decisions will be available for select programs. Attendees can also attend workshops about financial aid, scholarships, graduate and undergraduate admissions, transfer advising and more.
Open House will also feature information sessions through the morning about the RN to BSN program for registered nurses seeking a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The BSN degree is a key step for registered nurses who want to pursue leadership positions in education, clinical care and healthcare management.
“Students will have opportunities to engage with university faculty, advisers and current students,” said Assistant Director of Admissions – Special Events Tia Edwards. “We partner with our students throughout their education, and that starts with events like Open House.”
Representatives from each of the university’s four schools: School of Business, School of Education, School of Human Sciences and Humanities and School of Science and Computer Engineering will be available during the Open House.
The entire family is invited to this free event, which will also feature a live DJ. Attendees can also tour campus, which for two consecutive years has earned Tree Campus USA® recognition from the Arbor Day Foundation.
