Trendmaker Homes has announced the release of new homesites for sale in The Reserve at Clear Lake City, a new master-planned community located in the thriving Clear Lake City area of Houston in Harris County. As the master developer and a builder at The Reserve, Trendmaker has expanded its home offerings with the release of phase II.

Upon completion, The Reserve will include 740 residences in two distinct product lines: traditional single-family homes on 55-, 70- and 80-foot homesites and luxury patio homes on low-maintenance zero-lot line homesites. As the first new home development in the area in 20 years, the community has been a resounding success since grand opening in July 2015. To date, Trendmaker and its builder partners, Village Builders and CalAtlantic Homes, have sold 65 homes and closed on 21 homes in phase I across both product lines.

“We are very pleased with amount of excitement that we have seen in this community despite the economic developments around the oil and gas sector,” said Will Holder, President at Trendmaker Homes & Development. “Clear Lake City is a close-knit, well-established community in the Clear Creek ISD, which is ranked the best large school district in the Houston Metropolitan Area. Phase II buyers will be especially gratified to learn that Clear Lake High School is in their district.”

Phase II will deliver a total of 86 traditional single-family homes on 70- and 80-foot lots, ranging from 3,285 to 5,090 square feet. Trendmaker’s offering will feature 29 different floor plans with four to five bedrooms, three and a half to five and a half baths, and two- to three-car garages. Prices begin in the low $500,000s. Construction on phase II will begin later this month, and homeowners could move in as early as Fall 2016.

Families seeking ample living space will have no trouble finding it at The Reserve, but it’s not just about more square footage. For over 40 years, Trendmaker has maintained a reputation in Houston as the region’s leading builder of superior luxury homes “Where the Upgrades are Standard”, which means that, in most cases, what you see in the model homes is what you get in a new home. The homes feature large, open-concept floor plans with kitchens, casual dining areas, and family rooms that flow together for effortless entertaining. Some of the standard features include elements such as stylized light fixtures; ample storage spaces, including a hidden storage room; laundry chutes; backpack racks; double ovens; covered patios. Buyers can further personalize homes with options such as outdoor kitchens and fireplaces; game rooms; and closet organization systems.

Trendmaker’s passion for delivering outstanding customer care is reflected in the fact that 30 percent of sales come from direct referrals. The organization also has staying power: backed by the capital of parent company TRI Pointe Group (NYSE: TPH), Trendmaker can secure options on lots in the best communities, spreading revenues across multiple neighborhoods and positioning itself for a strong rebound when the economy improves.

The Reserve at Clear Lake City spans more than 372 lush acres of serene, open green space. Residents will enjoy full access to all of the amenities offered throughout the master-planned community, including a pool, splash park, tennis courts, neighborhood parks, playgrounds, and a recreation center that is scheduled to open this summer. They can also shop at the new HEB Grocery Store-anchored retail center conveniently located near the neighborhood entrance, which will open in mid-February.

Situated east of the Gulf Freeway and south of the Sam Houston Parkway (Beltway 8), The Reserve provides quick access to both the coast and downtown Houston. Commuters will find its close proximity to downtown, the Med Center and the NASA campus highly desirable, and both couples and families will enjoy the nearby retail and entertainment offerings, such as the Baybrook Mall, the Johnson Space Center, and Bay Oaks Country Club.

Phase III will include new releases of patio homes and homes on 55-foot lots. A release date has not yet been set.

Sales at The Reserve at Clear Lake City are currently underway with model homes by Trendmaker and its builder partner, Village Builders, available for touring seven days a week. Additional model homes by Trendmaker and CalAtlantic will open in the spring. For more information, please visit
