New home sales are sizzling in the Spring master-planned community of Harmony where purchases of new homes through the first six months of 2017 are up an impressive 52 percent from a year ago.
Buoyed by the completion of the Grand Parkway, Harmony’s new home builders have completed 133 sales of traditional family homes, luxury patio homes and lifestyle townhomes through the first six months of 2017, compared to 87 new home sales during the same time period of 2016.
Visitors to Harmony’s model homes and its community events also are up through the first six months of the year, from 2,640 in 2016 to 3,990 in 2017.
“Certainly the extension of the Grand Parkway east of I-45 past Rayford Road was a game changer in terms of our visibility and accessibility to nearby employment centers, shopping, dining, entertainment and healthcare,” notes Faith Pitman, marketing manager for Harmony. “Once prospective buyers see what Harmony has to offer, they’re sold.”
Pitman says buyers are attracted to Harmony’s new home price range, from the $220s to the $600s, and its selection of traditional family homes, luxury patio homes and lifestyle townhomes.
Other big selling points, she adds, are Harmony’s two on-site early childhood education centers, two recreation centers with resort-style pools, an on-site ‘director of fun’ who plans year-round social events, and the convenience of an H-E-B, Texas Children’s Pediatrics and retail and restaurant offerings at the community’s entrance.
The Spring community by Johnson Development Corp. offers new homes by Ashton Woods Homes, CastleRock Communities, Darling Homes, Highland Homes, Perry Homes, Shea Homes, Taylor Morrison and Westin Homes with fully furnished model homes open daily.
