The Sienna Plantation Community Farmers Market returns 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, with a bounty of fresh produce and artisanal treats.
Nature’s bounty will provide inspiration for holiday dinners at the Sienna Plantation Community Farmers Market, 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18.
Dozens of local vendors will be on hand at the Fort Bend community’s train depot parking lot, 9600 Scanlan Trace, with bins full of seasonal, farm-fresh fruits and vegetables suitable for the creation of everything from appetizers to desserts.
“Everyone wants to use the freshest possible ingredients in their holiday dishes and our market is positively bursting with them,” said Cyndi Hernandez, community relations manager for the Sienna Plantation Associations. “In addition to organic produce, shoppers will have an opportunity to score delectable meats, fresh bread and artisanal gifts — everything they need to prepare the perfect holiday meal.”
In addition there will be a number of holiday vendors diplaying artisanal creations, allowing market-goers to pick up a few last-minute gifts.
The market is just one of the many events Sienna Plantation hosts throughout the year. In addition, the community offers a range of fitness-related amenities including swimming complexes, a fitness center, tennis courts and the Camp Sienna sports complex.
