Houston Business Journal - A Houston homebuilder will develop six luxury town homes in a hot location.
Davis Builders recently broke ground on its new development, a six-residence community called Morada, at 2411 Rosamond in the Upper Kirby/River Oaks area. Starting at $1.3 million, the four-story homes will be within walking distance to West Ave and Whole Foods Market. The homes will feature rooftop terraces and two of the homes are designed to offer private pools. Floor plans range from 4,061 to 4,713 square feet.
“Morada is a direct reflection of the demand for luxury homes in Houston,” saidRobert Davis, founder of Davis Builders. “As Houston’s design palette continues to evolve and expand, there is a need for high style architecture in a centrally located area of the city.”
The properties are designed by Todd Blitzer of Bellaire, Texas-based Mirador Group. Construction is expected to be completed by March 2015.
Long known as a high-end part of town, luxury shows no stopping in River Oaks. Four major luxury retailers recently signed agreements to open stores in the River Oaks District.
And Houston-based Al Ross Luxury Homes is focusing on building homes just inside River Oaks.
