Novare Group, an Atlanta-based apartment developer, is reportedly planning another luxury SkyHouse apartment tower in Houston.
Swamplot reports that Novare has a new Houston project dubbed the River Oaks SkyHouse. Although the exact location hasn’t been confirmed, Swamplot said the reported address for the project is at 2013 Westcreek Lane, which is located near San Felipe St. and the 610 West Loop South.
Novare is currently in the process ofdeveloping its first SkyHouse apartment complex in Houston, located downtown at 1625 Main, in partnership with Denver-based Simpson Housing LLP, Atlanta-based Batson-Cook Development Co. and Houston-based developer Peter W. Dienna.
The development team on the first Houston SkyHouse project, which was revealed in March 2013, was the first team to take advantage of Houston’s downtown residential incentive plan.
Swamplot reports that the planned River Oaks SkyHouse will be similar in design to the first Houston Skyhouse, which is a 24-story, 336-unit luxury high-rise that features floor-to-ceiling glass and high-end finishes, such as expansive balconies.
Down the street from the planned River Oaks SkyHouse, San Diego, Calif.-based OliverMcMillan is constructing the River Oaks District, a 14-acre mixed-use development with a move theater, office space and residential units.
