Lago Mar Unveils First Model Home

The first model home has just made its debut in Lago Mar, and it is built by Westin Homes, one of the Houston area’s leading builders.

Located in Texas City, Lago Mar is already off to an impressive start with a total of 12 sales to date.

“The opening of Lago Mar’s first model home is a cause for celebration,” said Jennifer Keller, President and Chief Operating Officer of Land Tejas. “It marks a major milestone in a community that is already a popular destination with the extensive Tanger Outlet Mall and retail complex.”

The well-appointed home at 3002 Broadhaven Drive is the builder’s 2,900-square-foot Albany plan. The design features four bedrooms, 3.5 baths, a study, a game room, a 42-inch fireplace in the family room and a media room.

Westin’s well-known architectural flourishes such as a tiered rotunda, coffered ceilings and floor-to-ceiling bay windows are showcased, as are options such as 6-foot-8-inch rolling barn doors at the media room and the master bath. Custom Kent Moore cabinets in the kitchen and utility room and a freestanding tub in the master bath also are featured.

Westin offers four- and five-bedroom designs on 50- and 65-foot properties in Lago Mar. Pricing is from the $260,000s.

Homes in Lago Mar are priced from the mid $200,000s. The 2,033-acre community, located along Interstate 45, will be home to 4,400 families when complete.
