Darling Homes Awarded One of Houston Business Journal’s 2016 Best Places to Work

For the second consecutive year, Darling Homes, a leading Texas home builder, has been recognized as one of the 2016 Best Places to Work by the Houston Business Journal.

Placing in the top 10 for both 2015 and 2016, Darling Homes demonstrated the importance of teamwork, aiming to exceed the expectations of every customer. For more than 25 years, the home builder has focused on delivering high quality, luxury homes in premier locations that fit the unique needs and desires of today’s homebuyers.

With more than 100 Houston-based companies eligible at this year’s Best Places to Work, Darling Homes celebrated a remarkable outcome, receiving a score of 92.5 out of a possible 100 in the medium-sized category.

“Our dynamic work environment is created by the passionate and diligent team members we have at Darling Homes,” said Amy Rino, president of Darling Homes Houston’s division. “We’ve built a family-oriented culture made up of talented individuals that are not only dedicated to building fine homes, but building a strong camaraderie that’s observed daily in the workplace.”

Nominated companies receive a score curated from employee surveys that rank the company’s culture, amenities, benefits and worker retention and attraction strategies. Based on the number of employees, businesses are divided into categories, which include Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large.

It’s the third major award for Darling Homes this year, which was named Greater Houston Builders Association Houston’s Best PRISM award winner for Volume Builder of the Year for 2016. In all, the Houston homebuilder won 15 categories and finished as a finalist in another 15 categories at this year’s awards ceremony. Darling Homes was also named The Woodlands Builder of the Year for 2015.

“It’s been a rewarding experience to be recognized in the industry for our company culture and quality craftsmanship,” Rino said. “These achievements are a great motivation that will drive us toward an exciting new year.”
