Sugar Land, TX   (March 26, 2015)   — Momentum is continuing in Riverstone, named the top-selling community in Texas for a second consecutive year, with builders selling more than 120 homes in the first 11 weeks of 2015 and opening 11 new model homes before May.

Avalon at Riverstone is welcoming seven new model homes by builders Darling Homes and Taylor Morrison, all of which will be open in April.

Taylor Morrison has four new models, showcasing patio home designs and executive homes for 60-, 70- and 80-foot properties. Homes range from 2,315 to 5,623 square feet with prices from the mid $300,000s.

Darling Homes has three new model homes in Avalon at Riverstone for 55-, 70- and 80-foot homesites. Darling’s variety of homes range from 2,594 to 5,238 square feet and are base priced in the mid $400,000s.

Both builders have available homes now underway.

“Avalon at Riverstone is one of Riverstone’s best-selling neighborhoods, with Darling Homes and Taylor Morrison offering a wide variety of homes to answer any number of buyer needs,” said Trey Reichert, vice president and general manager of Riverstone. “This addition of seven new model homes in the neighborhood will just add to its momentum.”

Darling Homes also is opening a new patio home model by the first of May in Whisper Rock, where the builder offers homes from the $460,000s and designs ranging from 2,613 to 3,771 square feet.

Perry Homes has opened a model home in the Riverstone neighborhood of Lost Creek, where it showcases designs priced from the $470,000s and floor plans ranging from 3,000 to 4,200 square feet. Highland Homes will open a model home in Lost Creek in early April with designs from 2,722 to 3,900 square feet and priced from the $440,000s. Both builders have available homes.

Meritage Homes is opening a second Riverstone model home in April in the Ivory Ridge neighborhood. Meritage Homes is the exclusive builder in Ivory Ridge, offering designs from the $450,000s and plans ranging from 3,400 to 4,048 square feet.

“There’s just no slowing down in Riverstone,” Reichert said. “The opening of these new model homes brings our number of models to 21, which is one of the largest collection of model homes in Houston.”

That number will grow later this year, when two more model homes debut this summer. Partners in Building and Fedrick, Harris Estate Homes are each opening models in the Enclave at Riverstone, a neighborhood of 42 homesites launched last year that has seen brisk sales.
