Manvel Junior High at Rodeo Palms, Opening Fall 2012-2013

For junior high students living in Lakes of Savannah the 2012-13 school year will be an important year as they will be first students to attend Manvel Junior High at Rodeo Palms. Located at 101 Palm Desert Drive at County Road 48, Manvel Junior High is near Lakes of Savannah.

     Manvel Junior High at Rodeo Palms, the newest campus in the Alvin I.S.D., replaces the former Manvel High School campus. Alvin ISD currently holds a recognized rating from the Texas Education Association.

     Manvel Junior High at Rodeo Palms is a 168,000 square-foot facility that includes classrooms, practice and competition gymnasiums, science labs, theatre arts and band hall, a cafeteria, administration office and library. The campus features ample parking, football fields, an athletic track, and room for track and field events.

     Lakes of Savannah students attend Savannah Lakes Elementary School, within the community, and Manvel High School located on Texas 6 east of Texas 288. Classes for the 2012-2013 school year begin August 27.
