The Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC), on behalf of the Stakeholder Advisory Committee and the City of Pearland, is inviting the public to participate in a public workshop regarding the Northern Brazoria County/Pearland Subregional Planning Initiative. The workshop will be held on July 12, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., in the Pearland City Hall Council Chambers, located on 3519 Liberty, Pearland, Texas 77581.

     The Subregional Planning Initiative is a new program at H-GAC that facilitates coordinated transportation and land use planning studies at a subregional level. Studies are led by a team of stakeholders and offer a unique opportunity to balance local expertise with regional planning and networking, with a goal of identifying transportation projects to implement through the Regional Transportation Program and the Transportation Improvement Program processes.
