The Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC), on behalf of the Stakeholder Advisory Committee and the City of Pearland, is inviting the public to participate in a public workshop regarding the Northern Brazoria County/Pearland Subregional Planning Initiative. The workshop will be held on July 12, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., in the Pearland City Hall Council Chambers, located on 3519 Liberty, Pearland, Texas 77581.
The Subregional Planning Initiative is a new program at H-GAC that facilitates coordinated transportation and land use planning studies at a subregional level. Studies are led by a team of stakeholders and offer a unique opportunity to balance local expertise with regional planning and networking, with a goal of identifying transportation projects to implement through the Regional Transportation Program and the Transportation Improvement Program processes.
The public is invited to attend the informative meeting and provide input into the process. For additional information, please contact Hans-Michael Ruth at H-GAC at 713.993.2478 or Jon Branson at the City of Pearland at 281.652.1600.
