Fireworks will light up the night in Celebration of Independence Day during the July 4th Celebration of Freedom in Pearland, TX. The event is behing held at Pearland High School at 3775 South Main. Admission is free and open to the general public.
The event features a full-size carnival, live music and fun activities for the entire family. Carnival gates open at 2 p.m. and activities and entertainment include face painting, inflatables, jugglers and strolling magicians.
At approximately 6:30 p.m., a VFW military salute will begin the evening's festivities, followed by the National Anthem. The evening's entertainment features live music by The Drywater Band playing Top 40, R&B, and country music and a choreographed fireworks show will begin at sundown, approximately 9 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased for $1/each for carnival rides which require 2 to 4 tickets. Concessions will be available for purchase or you can bring your own. Please note that alcohol, glass containers, pets and tobacco are prohibited. For more information, visit pearlandparks.com.
