Sedona Lakes in Manvel, TX
Since Sedona Lakes opened over two and a half years ago the community has experienced brisk sales by Highland Homes, Darling Homes, J Patrick, and Coventry. About 175 homes have sold at Sedona Lakes with 135 families in residence. Prices range from the $200,000s to $600,000s. Phase 2, offering 60-, 70-, and 80-ft. home sites, will be completed in early 2013.
"The builders are very happy with the performance and expect continued growth. Prices are sure to move up, so interested parties should look to the close out lots and pricing in phase 1," Martin Said. "It's a good time to buy a home now with historically low finance rates."
Situated at the front door of Manvel, Sedona Lakes has quick access to Texas 288, FM-518, quality builders, a tranquil environment, friendly neighbors, and top-rated Alvin ISD schools. Sedona Lakes has a reputation for first-class treatment, amenities, and an open relaxed atmosphere. The homeowners association hosts various celebrations throughout the year including visits from Santa and the Easter Bunny, fireworks and a fall festival.
Sedona Lakes features a resort style pool and a beautiful stone and stained wood amenity center. In the second phase, a few miles of hiking trails and a playground will be added. The trail system will have new landscaping including trees along two scenic lakes. The two existing lakes will be widened and a second entry will be added to further beautify the neighborhood.
As traffic grows on newly opened CR 101 off the Texas 288 exit, commercial development will bring added benefits to residents of Sedona Lakes. According to Martin, there have been several offers on the commercial frontage along CR 101 and new businesses are expected to open next year. The City of Manvel will collect sales tax from these businesses. For information visit Sedona-Lakes.com or www.cityofmanvel.com.
