Amanda Tatum is the new lifestyle director for Del Webb Sweetgrass, the first Del Webb active adult community in the Greater Houston area.  In this position, Tatum will be responsible for coordinating programming that is unique and responsive to the residents of Del Webb Sweetgrass.  This includes planning special community events, activities, classes, chartered clubs and travel opportunities, among other social events, to promote the active, socially enriched lifestyle that has been a long-standing tradition for Del Webb community residents.  

After completion of the community’s spacious, 27,000-square-foot amenity center, Tatum will also be responsible for managing the center’s facilities and staff.  In addition, she will serve as liaison with the community’s home owner’s association and property management company.

Tatum has seven years of experience in programming and activities planning for the active adult generation, having recently served as senior program manager for the City of Friendswood Senior Citizen Program and as a lifestyle and activities director for Lennar Homes. 

A city of Friendswood resident, Tatum received her bachelor of arts in sociology at California State University in San Marcos, Calif. 

Del Webb Sweetgrass is an active adult community with approximately 1,500 single-family homes on more than 500 acres of rolling topography. The community is located in Richmond, just 25 miles south of downtown Houston.
