 Faith West Academy Preschool has been selected for the second consecutive year to receive the 2009 Best of Katy Award in the preschool category by the U.S. Local Business Association (USLBA).
The USLBA "Best of Local Business" Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USLBA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2009 USLBA Award Program focused on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USLBA and data provided by third parties.
"We are honored to have been chosen for this award recognizing the achievements in education," said Seledia Smith, Preschool Director. “I am very proud of my staff. They are committed to providing the highest quality of Christian Education. Our teachers model excellence classroom management and provide innovative instruction. They serve the parents by teaching parenting skills (whenever there is a need). "
Faith West Academy Preschool has a total of 54 students, ages 3-5, with a staff of 6 including the director. The annual Preschool Musical will be held this Thursday, 7:00 PM, May 21st in the Faith West Academy Auditorium.
