CROSSROADS: Community Partnership for Youth, Inc. is currently seeking volunteers. Our volunteers serve as mentors in the community to reach out to troubled youth. The mentors provide a stable, adult role model in the life of a child.
It is our hope that having a caring, responsible adult interacting with a child would prevent or reduce that child’s involvement in the juvenile justice system.
Being a mentor is a rewarding and satisfying experience. We ask that our volunteers meet their youth an hour a week. One hour is all a mentor needs to make a difference. In order to volunteer you must be at least 21 years of age, commit a year to the agency, agree to a background check, and attend a training class.
Please join us in our cause to make a difference in the lives of these youth. Enclosed you will find an agency fact sheet that will give you a brief summary of CROSSROADS and how it has made an impact in your community as well as some fliers and brochures.
