Founded in 1977 by Dr. Raymond J. and Eileen C. Huntington, Huntington Learning Center is the oldest provider of supplemental education services to children in the United States, helping tens of thousands of students a year, in grades K-12, do better in school. By adhering to one basic principle help children to reach their full potential-Huntington has grown from one center to hundreds of centers nationwide.
Huntington offers tutoring, remediation, enrichment and SAT/ACT exam preparation services, with an
emphasis on basic reading, writing, math and study skills. Most Huntington students are in elementary, junior high or high school.
Because each child has different needs, Huntington programs are tailor-made for each child individually. When parents bring their child to Huntington Learning Center, we administer nationally-recognized diagnostic tests to determine the student's specific academic strengths and weaknesses. Based on these test results, a comprehensive program of instruction is recommended. State-certified teachers provide students with individualized attention in an optimal environment for tackling academic challenges.
It is Huntington's philosophy that parents play a vital role in their child's education. To that end, our staff meets with parents for an initial conference and at regular intervals to review their child's progress. We
are proud that, according to a study conducted by Solomon and Associates, over 93% of Huntington parents polled are satisfied with the results achieved by their children.
