Forgotten Angels is dedicated
to providing mentally and physically challenged individuals safe, loving homes
in which they are treated with respect, compassion and dignity. Day
habilitation and work training programs provide the means, support and
encouragement for them to reach their full potential.
Forgotten Angels provides
care for and support to a community of children and adults with special needs
through twelve group homes, Day Habilitation Program, equestrian center and
community interactions. Some components of this program include:
▪ staff assistance with
clients acquiring, retaining and/or improving self-help, socialization and
adaptive skills
▪ providing individuals with
age-appropriate activities that will enhance self-esteem and which will
maximize functional level
▪ training and support
activities which promote clients’ integration and participation in the
community
▪ providing assistance for
individuals who cannot manage their personal care needs during day habilitation
activities.

our Day Habilitation Program enjoy museum exhibits, trips to the zoo, arts and
crafts activities, exercise classes, pizza parties, picnics, equine therapy at
