About Us - Our mission is to provide a program of academic excellence that will allow students to develop academically, socially, emotionally, physically and aesthetically. Through challenging and individualized instruction in language arts, mathematics, problem-solving, science, social studies, foreign language, fine arts and physical development, students will become literate, self-disciplined, creative, independent and confident learners who demonstrate positive attitudes and appropriate social/emotional behavior.

Faculty and Staff - The administrative and teaching staff consists of twenty-six men and women who have been educated at 17 different universities in six different countries. Committed to continuing their own education, both teachers and administrators (more than half with advanced degrees) are enrolled annually in professional growth and graduate courses.

College - The staff of Banff School strives to challenge students to work to the best of their individual abilities and to prepare them academically and emotionally to meet future challenges. We work to teach students responsibility for their actions and motivate them to achieve greatness when they leave our institution for other horizons.

Arts - The Banff School has always prided itself on its quality Fine Arts education. From intensive drama production classes to master art classes taught by working professional artists, Banff brings a top quality class of arts education to its students.

Athletics - Each year, the Banff School strives to provide varied sports and wellness activities!  Housed in our brand new, fully equipped gymnasium, students are offered participation in such sporting activities as: basketball, volleyball, baseball, track, cheerleading and tennis.  Many of these same sports are also offered in a competitive option such as our basketball team, the "Banff Bears," and the lady's volleyball team, the "Lady Bears." Our students also enjoy support in competition swimming and gymnastic activities.

Admission to The Banff School is based on results of entrance exams, and for students in grades K-12, previous school records and recommendations. No one factor is more important than another.
