            Established in 1991, the Greenspoint Management District’s core mission is to attract the best in commercial and residential life to Greenspoint.  An organization that fosters relationships with private and public entities, it provides enhanced services and programs that encourage economic growth and preserve an outstanding quality of life for the community.  Then and now, the District’s goal is to ensure Greenspoint’s future as a premier business activity center.

            Working in Greenspoint offers a variety of choices.  More than 4,400 businesses and 70,000 employees call Greenspoint home.  Energy corporations anchor the area’s business sector, and companies representing the service, health care and technology industries are establishing global connections in the area.  A vibrant corporate setting and a close proximity to area amenities are among the advantages Greenspoint has to offer industry leaders like ExxonMobil, Baker Hughes, Nabor Industries, Kerr McGee, and Smith International.  

            Several fine hotels, a number of motels, and extended stay accommodations are located along the main thoroughfares with a combined total of more than 9,600 rooms. Fine restaurants and national dining chains serve business patrons and residents with a variety of cuisines.  

            The Greenspoint area continues to flourish with more than 4,000 new homes built in the last few years.  Plans are under way to develop more single family homes and multi-family communities for newcomers. 

            Additionally, Greenspoint offers exciting recreational opportunities at  Thomas R. Wussow and CityView Parks that offer a great place to play for the community.  From volleyball courts and a water sprayground to a garden trellis and covered pavilions, the parks paint scenic backdrops for family picnics, corporate events, or school functions.
