The mission statement of the North Houston-Greenspoint Chamber of Commerce states that we exist to promote and stimulate business development and community involvement.
A membership that is growing quickly, consisting of small businesses and large corporations makes this one of the most diverse chambers in the Houston Metropolitan area. At first glance our numbers may seem modest, but with large members such as ABS, Anadarko, Baker Hughes, CenterPoint Energy, Continental Airlines, Convergys, Exxon-Mobil, Halliburton, Shell, Smith International, Stone Energy, Swift Energy, and Reliant Energy, we actually represent tens of thousands of employees, making the North HoustonGreenspoint Chamber of Commerce one of the largest in the Houston Metropolitan Service Area.
A blend of business, networking, community, educational, and social activities benefit the members. In addition, the Chamber is proactive in creating partnerships with the other organizations and management districts in the area to benefit the entire north Houston community.
The Chamber’s strong partnerships with the many educational institutions of north Houston such as North Harris Montgomery Community College District, Aldine ISD, North Forest ISD, and Spring ISD, completes the cycle as we work with these institutions to produce and provide opportunities to the north Houston residents thus strengthening the workforce and replenishing community leaders and contributors.
