The North Houston Association is a nonprofit organization, that identifies, advocates and supports projects and initiatives that advance the business environment, and improves the quality of life in North Harris and Montgomery counties. Their membership consists of professionals from the real estate industry, major corporations, service firms, and the financial and education sectors. The association works closely with government agencies,other organizations, and chambers of commerce serving the North Houston area. Over the past 26 years, the North Houston Association has been actively involved with the development, construction, and naming of the Sam Houston Parkway, the creation of the North Harris County Regional Water Authority, production of the North Houston Aerial Land Use Map, funding of a number of transportation projects, the beautification of the Bush Intercontinental Airport entrance, and the production of the NHA Mobility Update and NHA Fact Book.
