Established in 1989, First Christian Academy offers an independent, non-denominational Christian education: early childhood; infants/toddlers, and before and after care for public school students, and a full summer program for all ages.Pre-school for children from 2+ to 5 years of age includes PreK and Kindergarten; private school; advanced Kindergarten thru high school

The facility is located in the Sagemont/South Belt area and sits nestled on 4 acres -- south of Beamer and Sam Houston Parkway. less than a mile from Memorial Hermann Hospital Southeast. Other area employers include San Jacinto Community College, Hobby Airport and Baybrook and Almeda Mall.

First Christian Academy offers an accredited college-preparatory curriculum for all ages, with small classes and degreed teachers. Since 1991, First Christian Academy has achieved and maintained a Model Status (the highest honors awarded) from Accelerated Christian Education. FCA is also a member with the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and is linked with Liberty University, in Lynchburg, VA. to offer High School students the opportunity to take college level courses while attending FCA with minimum additional cost to parents. Chapel Service is held weekly and is age appropriate.

FCA is designed to work with the family: offering a support to parents enforcing the values and character taught at home. In addition to spacious classrooms and computer labs, FCA offers athletic opportunities: Olympic-size swimming pool, covered basketball pavilion, 2 volleyball courts, and soccer and softball fields. Small children can enjoy play time in several run and climb playgrounds outdoors and free-play areas inside. In the 2008/09 school term, FCA will begin competing with the TAPPS organization. FCA offers Academic, Platform , Music and Athletic competition on the local, regional and international level.
